Kforce has a client that is seeking a Revenue Accountant in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities: * Implement monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger closing procedures; Assist in preparation of financial reports and documentation in accordance with GAAP and corporate standards: balance sheet/income statement/statement of cash flows * Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports and support company internal and external audits * Assist in the accounting, reconciliation, and financial analysis for assigned general ledger accounts * Perform monthly accounting and analysis over assigned accounts while working across various department to ensure operational understanding and proper accounting * Ensure compliance with accounting control procedures and policies * Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner * Assist in review and training of staff level work * May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
