Newsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top Companies Certified as a Great Place to Work® Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance Revenue Accountant **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE** : To oversee monthly close process; to compile and analyze financial and related contract data; and to prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation. **ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?** We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment, who are driven to deliver great work, are customer-oriented and are naturally empathetic. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE** + Coordinates and completes monthly close ensuring timely financial statement preparation and issuance. + Applies client contract terms to revenue recognition. + Performs complex client audits and reporting. + Supports month-end accounting processes; prepares month-end financial entries to general ledger system; performs month-end variance review; and provides monthly forecast variance explanations. + Defines, prepares, reviews and analyzes monthly reports. + Prepares audit lead schedules for outside audit firms. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in accounting field preferred.
