Job Title: Revenue Accountant
Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Analyst with strong experience in gross-to-net accounting and pharmaceutical sales analytics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition through analysis of complex commercial deductions, including but not limited to chargebacks, rebates, discounts, and returns. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities and pharmaceutical industry knowledge to support precise financials.

ResponsibilitiesPerform monthly revenue close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and analysis.Calculate and monitor gross-to-net (GTN) adjustments, including chargebacks, rebates, returns, and distribution fees.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial operations, legal, and supply chain, to ensure accurate revenue reporting.Perform gross-to-net sales variance analysis and identify key drivers and trends.Maintain documentation to support revenue recognition positions and internal controls for audit and compliance purposes.Assist with financial audits by preparing schedules and providing support to external auditors.Essential SkillsRevenue recognitionAccountingAnalysisRevenue analysisGTNProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with SAP or similar financial solutionsiContractsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2-4 years of accounting experience with a focus on GTN accounting and Revenue AnalyticsProficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas)Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and business intelligence/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and provide insight into commercial performanceExcellent communication skills to translate financial insights for cross-functional stakeholdersWork Environment

The position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and iContracts. The role requires regular collaboration with various departments, including commercial operations, legal, and supply chain. The work environment is structured to support compliance and accurate revenue reporting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
