This position will support clients on the West Coast. Preference will be given to candidates located in Pacific, Mountain and Central Time Zones.

Worker's Compensation experience is highly preferred.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide support to the claims staff and to perform other office tasks depending on the client program.

Receives referrals for RTW Services from the claims team.Inputs and reviews notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed.Communicates with providers to obtain updated work status.Works with the employer to determine if restrictions/limitations can be accommodated.Sets new diaries for future follow up and communication.Answers and initiates telephone calls, sets up medical appointments, and may provide customer service as required.Works with Smartsheets for claims escalations to other resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.

Experience
Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge

Excellent oral and written communicationPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $18.00 - 22.00/hour  A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
