Retirement Services Processing Operations Specialist
Your opportunity

The goal of Operational Services, within Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI), is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, a Specialist within PAI is responsible for accurately executing high volume processing of participant loans, researching historical activity, maintaining relationships with internal business partners, and ensuring absolute compliance with all regulatory requirements of ERISA Law.

The Specialist is expected to manage high volumes of check transactions and completion of other requests received from internal partners. Position responsibilities include queue oversight, researching, and responding to internal partner requests, maintaining quality control and procedures, creating process improvements, and performing audit fulfillment to meet key deliverables while exceeding client and participant expectations. Flexibility and extreme attention to detail, initiative in researching tasks, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position. Crucial to success is the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, daily-deadline-driven environment coordinating activities of team members and processing transactions to achieve success with minimal errors. The successful candidate must have superior analytical skills, superior working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure that daily client deliverables are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail Creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement Ability to interpret client and participant needsExceptional organizational, analytical and time management skillsRetirement industry knowledge/ASPPA designation preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with IRS Form 1099-R/Banking logistics preferred, but not requiredCollege degree or equivalent work experienceIn-depth knowledge of regulations and plan design which governs processes such as incoming rollovers, loan payoffs and loan repayments preferred but not required

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
