Job Title: Retirement Benefits Administrator
Position Summary: As the primary point of contact for retirement benefit inquiries, this role supports employees with enrollment, eligibility, and day-to-day transactions related to 401(k) and deferred compensation plans. Responsibilities include reconciling contributions, loans, and company match funding between payroll and the recordkeeper, as well as calculating and validating match contributions, including annual true-ups. The position requires strong Excel skills to analyze plan data and generate reports, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless plan administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in HRIS systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Reports to: Retirement Plan Manager
What You’ll Do: • Be the first point of contact for employees with questions about their retirement benefits. • Support enrollments, eligibility, and day-to-day retirement transactions. • Resolve employee and vendor inquiries quickly and accurately. • Reconcile 401(k) contributions, loans, and company match funding between payroll and recordkeeper.• Calculate and validate company match contributions, including annual true-up. • Review Deferred Compensation Distributions, and collaborate with internal teams on timely payment. • Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) to analyze plan data and create reports. • Partner with internal partners (HR, Payroll and Finance) and retirement vendors to keep programs running smoothly.• Assist with compliance testing, audits, and vendor reporting.
What We’re Looking For: • 2+ years of experience with 401(k) and/or Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation plans. • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas). • Experience reconciling 401(k) contributions and match calculations. • Excellent communication skills — you can explain benefits clearly and confidently. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Vantage a plus). • Professional, team-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation: The annual salary range is $75,000-$80,000.
