Retail Sales Manager - SoHo pop up store (4 months)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Manager to oversee the operations of a pop-up store for a leading global lifestyle brand in SoHo. This role involves utilizing POS systems and other retail software, creating appealing store displays, managing inventory, analyzing sales data, and driving sales growth to meet store targets.

Responsibilities

Utilize POS systems and retail software for efficient store operations.Create and maintain appealing store displays to enhance customer experience.Manage inventory through ordering, stock management, and implementing loss prevention strategies.Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Drive sales growth and ensure store targets are met.Oversee the day-to-day duties of part-time personnel.Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for part-time staff.

Essential Skills

5 years of retail experience.3 years of management experience.Proficiency in inventory management.Experience with POS systems and retail software.Strong customer service skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic retail setting in SoHo, where store hours are from 11 am to 7 pm. The Retail Sales Manager is expected to be present from 10:30 am to 7:15 pm. A lunch break is provided, and a jacket is provided for the uniform.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
