**?Direct Hire Opportunity – Retail Boutique Manager** **Schedule:** Full-Time | Must be available weekends, holidays & peak retail seasons **Industry:** Luxury Retail / Food Confectionery **Salary:** Competitive + Full Benefits Package **About the Company:** Adecco is recruiting for a direct hire opportunity on behalf of a premium international chocolate and confectionery company with a strong retail presence across the U.S. Known for its luxury products, commitment to sustainability, and artisanal craftsmanship, this brand is expanding its U.S. footprint and seeking experienced retail leaders to join its team. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a **Retail Boutique Manager** to oversee day-to-day operations at a high-traffic flagship retail boutique in Bryant Park, NYC. This role is responsible for leading the in-store team, driving sales performance, delivering a top-tier customer experience, and ensuring smooth, compliant operations in a high-end food retail environment. **? Key Responsibilities:** **Leadership & Team Development** + Hire, train, and manage a team of 4–10 full- and part-time sales associates + Create weekly schedules ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with labor laws + Provide ongoing coaching, development, and performance feedback **Sales & Customer Experience** + Lead by example in delivering premium, hospitality-driven customer service + Manage in-store promotions and brand education initiatives + Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner **Operations & Compliance** + Oversee store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies (FLSA, ADA, etc.) + Maintain accurate reporting on store performance and inventory levels **Merchandising & Brand Standards** + Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store displays + Coordinate restocking and manage deliveries to maintain inventory levels + Monitor product freshness and execute FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation **Health & Safety** + Enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for staff and customers + Lift and carry merchandise (up to 30 lbs.) as needed, with reasonable accommodations available + Ensure food protection certification coverage during all hours of operation **?? Qualifications:** + 1–5 years of experience in retail or boutique management (food retail preferred) + Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and accountability + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Familiarity with labor regulations and HR best practices + Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak retail seasons + Food Protection Certification (or ability to obtain before start date) **?
