What this opportunity involves: 

 

Join our dynamic retail leasing team and play a pivotal role in managing leasing operations for major transport infrastructure assets including TfNSW/TAM properties. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with both local and national retailers whilst building lasting client relationships in NSW's thriving retail property market.

 

 

 

An overview of the role:  

Relationship Management

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and clients (local and national)

·       Develop comprehensive understanding of owners' leasing and tenancy requirements

·       Implement retail planning campaigns and ongoing leasing strategies for TAM/TfNSW accounts

·       Execute all responsibilities specified in leasing agreements with property owners

Leasing & Documentation

·       Conduct all lease negotiations from inception to conclusion

·       Manage prospective tenant enquiries, arrange property inspections, and coordinate documentation

·       Maintain current retail leasing database and ensure regular communication with specialty and major chain retailers

·       Compile detailed asset leasing status reports for owners, property managers, and account directors

·       Prepare advertising materials including signboards, press advertisements, brochures, and internet listings

Strategic Analysis

·       Formulate optimal tenancy mixes and analyse retail store operations

·       Monitor centre turnover and occupancy costs to maximise net rental returns

·       Stay current with market rentals, retail rates, and industry trends through regular competitor asset inspections

·       Liaise with architects and retail designers on tenancy fit-out guidelines

Reporting & Communication

·       Provide regular updates (weekly or as directed) to line manager on asset activity

·       Conduct weekly cold canvas activities and report results in team meetings

·       Maintain accurate records and correspondence for proper audit trails

·       Attend internal management meetings and owner meetings

 

 

Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for: 

·       Agents Representative Certificate in NSW (mandatory)

·       Proven experience as a leasing executive within retail environments

·       Comprehensive knowledge of NSW Retail Leases Act

·       Superior Microsoft Excel skills

·       Strong financial acumen for monthly reporting and analysis

·       First-class relationship management capabilities

·       Strategic thinking with ability to manage multiple complex issues within tight deadlines

·       Goal-oriented mindset focused on meeting performance targets

·       Excellent client service and communication skills

·       Exceptional interpersonal skills for team collaboration

·       Professional presentation and corporate presence
