Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction with food service utilizing customer service skills. Delivers and serves nutritionally-appropriate and attractive meals in a timely manner. Practices appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of job.  This position will primarily have a shift time of 10:45 am – 7:15 pm.  Rotating weekend shifts will also be required.
Responsibilities:

Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other team members. Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer. Complete any closing side work assigned. Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines. Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment. Clear tables of dishes and other used items. Expedite food items and service customers. Serves meals within established timeframes, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control. Receive and place food orders from customers when applicable. Clean, stock and maintain service station and all service areas where applicable Demonstrate an understanding of and proficiency with the ?Culture of Service? model. Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers. Engages guests using the designated department script, to include proper greeting, eye contact and smiling
