**Purpose:**
Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction with food service utilizing customer service skills. Delivers and serves nutritionally-appropriate and attractive meals in a timely manner. Practices appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of job. This position will primarily have a shift time of 10:45 am - 7:15 pm. Rotating weekend shifts will also be required.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other team members.
+ Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer.
+ Complete any closing side work assigned.
+ Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines.
+ Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment.
+ Clear tables of dishes and other used items.
+ Expedite food items and service customers.
+ Serves meals within established timeframes, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control.
+ Receive and place food orders from customers when applicable.
+ Clean, stock and maintain service station and all service areas where applicable
+ Demonstrate an understanding of and proficiency with the ?Culture of Service? model.
+ Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers.
+ Engages guests using the designated department script, to include proper greeting, eye contact and smiling
+ Diploma/GED, OR 1 year previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
+ Excellent Customer Service experience preferred.
