ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Assistant Store Manager position is critical to our success, providing support to the Management Team in all areas of operations management and team leadership. You’ll drive the store’s daily performance, inspire a team of employees, and ensure seamless customer service delivery. By managing inventory, enhancing visual merchandising, and executing strategic sales management initiatives, you’ll directly contribute to the store’s profitability and overall success.

STARTING RATE: $21.49 

 

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Assistant Manager with a strong emphasis on stock management to join our high-volume, fast-paced retail team. This role is perfect for an experienced retail professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a passion for inventory management and operational excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesStock Management & Inventory ControlOversee daily stock replenishment, organization, and rotation to maintain optimal floor presentationConduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracyMonitor stock levels and coordinate with management on reorder points and seasonal planningManage stockroom organization, ensuring efficient workflow and easy product locationProcess shipments, merchandise transfers, and returns in a timely mannerImplement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and damageOperations & Store ManagementSupport store management in daily operations during assigned shiftsSupervise and coordinate team members during peak hours and high-traffic periodsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMonitor store presentation standards and coordinate visual merchandising updatesHandle customer escalations and provide exceptional customer service resolutionTeam Leadership & DevelopmentTrain and mentor associates on stock management procedures and best practicesDelegate tasks effectively to maintain productivity during busy periodsFoster a positive team environment focused on efficiency and customer satisfactionSupport performance management and provide constructive feedback to team membersRequired QualificationsExperience: Minimum 2-3 years of retail management or supervisory experience, preferably in high-volume environmentsInventory Management: Proven experience with stock management, inventory control systems, and POS systemsLeadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced settingsCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly wage commensurate with experienceFlexible part-time schedulingEmployee discountOpportunities for career advancement within a growing company
