Description of Employment:
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for managing assigned team conducting inventories and ensuring the event is carried out in accordance with procedures agreed by RGIS and the customer
To plan, allocate and deploy resources for each inventory event to ensure optimal use of staff, time and technology
To liaise with customer sites in advance of the event, and with internal customer departments such as Area Management and IT, to plan the event in line with operational requirements
Responsible for preparing the RMs and all necessary equipment with the correct technical settings in advance of an event and setting up the RGIS wireless network on arrival in stores
Mapping sites and splitting the store into separate countable areas which can be easily identified by Auditors
To assess the store preparation levels and address any concerns with the Store Manager, escalating further if required
Briefing and then deploying the RGIS Auditors throughout the site to ensure a smooth and constant flow of data throughout the event, seeking to minimise downtime for both RGIS and customer staff
Monitoring Auditor productivity and performance throughout events, taking action as required
To review and develop stocktaking practices, providing appropriate feedback to maximise efficiency and accuracy, contributing to the continuous improvement of RGIS inventory control polices
To maintain the highest standards of customer service and keep the store manager updated with inventory progress throughout the event
Delivering training to customer staff in the tablet based RGIS checking application to allow them conduct accuracy checks throughout the event
Generating and preparing all relevant reports throughout the inventory to monitor accuracy, proactively address concerns and provide advice to customers on stock control and future process improvements
Communicating event progress status to RGIS management and following the assigned escalation process for any issues
To minimise non inventory times costs such as travel and waiting time by planning an efficient wrap up and exit plan during events
Responsible for ensuring the event is correctly closed out when all data has been captured and all checks are complete
To ensure storage and counting areas are organised in line with RGIS housekeeping standards, reflecting efficient operating practices for stock taking and highlighting any risks of stock loss or inaccurate counting
Responsible for completing the site specific Risk Assessment for each event, ensuring that the business operations comply with RGIS guidelines, Health and Safety legislation and statutory requirements relating to stock handling and storage

Requirements:
Essential
Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, or logistics operations
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple sites
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
Flexibility regarding working hours, locations, and methods, with a strong focus on service delivery
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a proactive “can do” attitude
Desirable
Knowledge of health & safety requirements within warehousing, logistics, or retail environments
Knowledge of current recruitment legislation
Full Driving Licence
Ability to review and improve inventory and storage practices to enhance operational efficiency
Benefits Location of Employment:
Based out of the Dublin office, with travel across the East of Ireland to client sites.
Hours of Work:
Working week: Sunday to Friday
Hours vary, generally late evening and night work
Minimum Annual Remuneration:
Minimum annual salary of €34,010.
