Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join its team

Andaz Lisbon, opening soon, will be the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and a key milestone in the continued growth of the Hyatt brand in Southern Europe, as well as the brand’s first managed hotel in the region.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible to assist the Restaurant Manager with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

You will assist in managing the outlet as a successful and independent profit center, aligned with the outlet’s operational concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget and contributing to the restaurant’s financial performance. You will also support team training, scheduling, and overall staff management.

Profile:University degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)Relevant experience in a similar roleAbility to lead and motivate a diverse team, including waitstaff, bartenders, and supervisorsStrong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills related to team or service challengesStrong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiencesBudget management skills, including cost control, pricing strategies, and profit marginsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guestsAbility to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments, ensuring smooth service during peak periodsAbility to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee stock levels to ensure timely product availabilityExperience in hotel openings will be considered an asset
