Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our exclusive RoofTop Bar. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our rooftop dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maximizing profitability and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage service.

Oversee daily operations of the rooftop bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfactionDevelop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitabilityManage and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staffCreate and maintain staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hoursMonitor and maintain food and beverage quality standardsImplement and enforce food safety and hygiene protocolsManage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and control costsHandle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficientlyCollaborate with the chef to develop and update menus, considering local trends and customer preferencesOrganize and oversee special events, promotions, and themed nightsEnsure compliance with local regulations and licensing requirementsPrepare financial reports, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordinglyMaintain the aesthetic appeal and ambiance of the rooftop bar

Qualifications3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a rooftop or high-end bar settingBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredProven track record of increasing revenue and managing costs in a restaurant environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiencesProficiency in restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systemsExperience with inventory management, financial reporting, and budgetingKnowledge of food safety regulations and current Food Safety CertificationFamiliarity with Malaysian cuisine and local food trendsUnderstanding of the alcoholic beverage industry and current cocktail trendsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Malay or other local languages is a plusFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
