Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our Chinese restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maximizing profitability and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and quality controlDevelop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitabilityManage and train staff to maintain high standards of service and efficiencyEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environmentCreate and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize restaurant performanceCollaborate with the head chef to plan and update menus, considering food costs and market trendsHandle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficientlyManage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationshipsImplement and monitor marketing initiatives to attract and retain customersAnalyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management

Qualifications3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in Chinese cuisine establishmentsProven track record of successful restaurant operations and team leadershipStrong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost controlExcellent customer service skills and ability to handle high-pressure situationsProficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systemsKnowledge of Chinese cuisine, culinary trends, and Malaysian food service regulationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)Food Safety CertificationFluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a plusAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
