What you will do
Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all restaurant operations are run efficiently. Key responsibilities will be:
Assist in managing the daily operations and help deliver the best guest experience
Lead and mentor the Restaurant team alongside the Restaurant Manager and create help shape a collaborative culture
Implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficiency delivery of the highest standards of service
Assisting of the management of the team when required, rosters, daily briefings, recruitment and onboarding
Liaise with the other departments in the hotel on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations
What you will bring
A background in fine dining and wine service is essential
Previous senior level / supervisory Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5 star properties, specifically managing VIP guest requirements.
Strong beverage (bartending, cocktail and wine) knowledge
Ability to train a team of mixed skill levels
Experience of Supervising busy operations
Impeccable personal grooming
Knowledge and experience with Hospitality Management systems
Strong and effective communication skills, ability to establish relationships
Ability to work accurately in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Reliable, honest and engaged with excellent attention to detail
The right applicant must be self motivated, a team player and able to work well in a high pressure environment.
What we offer
This is a full time position (minimum of 30 hours per week) offering an hourly rate of $30- $32 per hour depending on experience.

You must also be flexible and willing to work weekends. We offer a daily travel allowance and access to our staff Perks programme.
