Restaurant General Manager, Diplomat Prime - The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton

The beautiful Diplomat Beach Resort is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join their team at Diplomat Prime, the boutique steakhouse and lounge featuring prime dry-aged beef, seasonally driven seafood dishes, and unique shareable plates! This role oversees a team of 16 and reports to the Director of Restaurants.

The ideal candidate has experience as a General Manager in a fine-dining restaurant, is an expert in wine pairings, has open availability, a passion for leadership and the ability to inspire others to create memorable guest experiences.

Shift Pattern: Must have open availability Tuesday - Saturday from 12PM-12AM and weekends and holidays as needed.

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of a designated restaurant(s) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitationMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardCreate and maintain customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategyMaximize efficiency technology system(s) (i.e. Open Table)Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standardsInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wideRecruit, interview and train team members
