Restaurant Event & Sales Coordinator

You’ll be responsible for promoting our restaurant in the local community, managing basic marketing efforts, and actively generating sales for catering, private dining, and group reservations. You’ll work closely with ownership and management to develop and execute local marketing campaigns as assigned, identify and pursue sales leads, and help build lasting relationships with customers and local businesses. **Key Responsibilities** **Sales & Events:** + Proactively reach out to local businesses, offices, and organizations to promote catering and event services. + Generate revenue through corporate happy hours, selling the PDR and patio for private parties. + Attend networking events related to local F&B initiatives. + Generate, follow up, and close leads for catering orders and private events. + Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and social media. + Build and maintain a pipeline of repeat clients. + Host and execute events. **Marketing:** + Help plan and execute local marketing campaigns (flyers, promotions, social media, community events). + Monitor and respond to online reviews. + Assist in managing and growing our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Working closely with social media influencers to promote the restaurant. + Distribute marketing materials in local neighborhoods and businesses. + Coordinate with the team on promotional events or seasonal campaigns. **Reporting:** + Track and report on leads, outreach activity, and conversion rates. + Provide weekly updates on marketing and sales performance. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, or a related field. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Self-starter with a proactive and professional attitude. + Comfortable with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools. + Knowledge of the local area (McLean/Tysons/Northern VA) is a plus. + Passion for food and hospitality is a bonus! **Compensation & Perks** + **Hourly Pay:** $20–$25/hour based on experience. + **Commission:** Monthly performance-based bonuses on catering and event sales. + This is a full-time role. + Medical, dental, vision insurance. + 12 Free rooms nights with Hyatt per year. + Pet Insurance. + And so much more! **Primary Location:** US-VA-Tysons Corner **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Catering/Event Planning **Req ID:** TYS001553 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
