Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring outstanding guest service, operational excellence and team engagement. You will lead by example, developing a high-performing team while driving service standards, revenue growth and guest satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead the daily operations of The Landing Place Restaurant & Bar as well as our Private Dining spaces, ensuring exceptional service and presentation standards. + Drive guest satisfaction by delivering personalised, professional and efficient service experiences. + Train, mentor and develop team members to build a positive and high-performing culture. + Manage rostering, labour costs and productivity to achieve business objectives. + Oversee food and beverage service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar operations. + Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety regulations and liquor licensing requirements. + Monitor inventory levels, ordering processes and stock control to minimise waste and maximise profitability. + Work closely with the Culinary and Events teams to deliver seamless guest experiences. + Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally. + Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to revenue growth initiatives. + Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across all restaurant and bar areas. + Actively promote Hyatt's culture, values and commitment to exceptional hospitality. **Qualifications:** + Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or similar leadership role within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment. + Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing hospitality teams. + Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control and service delivery. + Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is essential. + Hospitality qualification is desirable. + Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills. + Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities. + Commercially minded with an understanding of budgets, labour management and revenue performance. + Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. **What we offer** With enriching work comes amazing rewards!
