Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations for all meal servicesEnsure service standards align with restaurant policies and brand guidelinesSupervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bussersMonitor food quality, presentation, and guest satisfactionCoordinate with kitchen and stewarding teams to maintain cleanliness and efficiencyGreet and interact with guests, handling feedback and complaints professionallyAssist in managing departmental budgets, cost control, and labor productivitySupport inventory management, ordering of supplies, and stock rotationEnsure accurate daily reports, shift checklists, and billing proceduresMaintain compliance with local food safety regulations and health standardsParticipate in staff training and development initiativesImplement and monitor quality assurance processesAssist in organizing and executing special events and promotions

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a high-volume, upscale restaurantFluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is a plusExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesProficiency in POS systems and basic office applicationsGuest-oriented with a proactive service mindsetAbility to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situationsKnowledge of current dining trends and local cuisineStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality assuranceExperience in inventory management and cost controlFamiliarity with food safety regulations and health standardsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysUnderstanding of Saudi Arabian dining customs and hospitality practices
