Respite Provider – Flexible Weekend Shifts
We are seeking a patient, energetic, and compassionate respite provider to support our fun-loving and spirited child on flexible weekend shifts. This role is ideal for someone with autism awareness who enjoys engaging children in creative, active, and enjoyable activities. Schedule:• Flexible weekend shifts (days and times can be coordinated in advance)• Up to 6Hr/WeekStarting Wage: $14.13/HourLocation: Mondovi, WI (Child's residence) About Our Child:• Loves video games (Grand Theft Auto, Roblox)• Loves outdoor play, drawing, and painting• Obsessed with Monster Trucks, Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, Goofy Movie, and the Minecraft Movie• Active, imaginative, and creative
Responsibilities:• Engage in fun, age-appropriate activities outside the home (parks, children’s museum, outdoor play)• Support creativity and hobbies such as drawing, painting, and themed play• Provide toileting assistance as needed (child still in pull-ups)• Support emotional regulation during frustration or aggression (game freezes, losing, movie ending) by encouraging slow, deep breaths and calm redirection
Qualifications:• Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required• Experience with children, preferably with autism, is helpful• Patient, fun, and loving attitude toward children
