We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Job Posting: Seeking a caring, patient, and energetic respite provider to support a young man by taking him into the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, a genuine interest in building a trusting relationship, and the ability to support daily routines and social engagement. Ideally, respite will start as 1:1 with the potential to add others into the mix when a relationship is established. This also goes for the location of respite which will start in the community but may branch out to include your home as well.  Pay: $14.13/hour (after tax rate) Location: Eau Claire, WI (services provided in the community) Schedule: 8 hours/week available – evenings & weekends preferred, flexible scheduling Enjoys:  Tv/movies/characters: More of a YouTube kid, Black Lightning, Flash Activities:  Videogames (Fortnite) limit screentime Playing Basketball & Football Animal Lover   Key Responsibilities: Provide safe and engaging respite care in community settingsEncourage outdoor play and physical activitySupport positive social interaction and communicationParticipate in games, sports, and other fun activitiesAct as a positive role model and mentorProvide consistent structure while allowing for flexibility and fun Ideal CandidateEnergetic, reliable, and patientComfortable working with children with Autism and ADHDAble to balance screen time with other activitiesHas reliable transportation for community outingsA male provider who can act as a brother/mentor is preferred, but female providers are also encouraged to apply Requirements:Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire *Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
