We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a reliable, structured, and understanding respite provider to care for two siblings in the comfort of their own home.The Respite Provider will assist with engaging activities, help with activities of daily living (ADLs), and provide emotional support in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and enjoy creating a positive, structured space where the children can thrive. Location: Eau Claire, WIStarting Wage: $17.66/hour + $259.32/overnightSchedule: Scheduling is Done in Advance with Parent Responsibilities:• Provide safe and attentive care in your home during scheduled respite hours.• Supervise toileting: both children are daytime potty trained and independent, but require an adult to remain directly outside the bathroom and within earshot.• Ensure separate sleeping and changing arrangements for each child.• Maintain a highly structured, predictable environment with firm boundaries and clear routines.• Utilize visual monitoring (cameras in the home are preferred) for safety oversight.• Engage children in appropriate activities while adhering to set schedules.• Manage oppositional or defiant behaviors calmly and consistently.

Qualifications:• Experience working with children who display behavioral challenges.• Ability to provide a structured, routine-based environment.• Strong supervision skills and attentiveness to safety.• Firm but supportive approach to behavior management.• (Preferred) No additional respite children or young children in the home during care.
