We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide respite care for a young boy. In this 1:1 role, you will focus on ensuring safety, offering supervision, and assisting with daily living skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. This part-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive difference while engaging in fun and developmental activities with the child.

Compensation:
$14.13 per hour

Schedule:
· Weekdays after school
· Care Provided in the community and in child’s home
· Looking for an active provider that enjoys sports, gaming and scary movies to enjoy with the child.

Skills & Qualifications:
· Previous experience working with children 1:1
· Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to follow customized care plans and adapt to the child’s unique needs

Responsibilities:
· Ability to set firm boundaries that are healthy and beneficial to the child and manage behaviors
· Preference of experience working with children with special or behavioral needs
· Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, hygiene routines, and basic household chores

*Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for position
*Ability to pass a criminal/caregiver background check
