We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for an adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment during the primary caregiver's absence.
Pay:• $17.66/hourly (shifts under 8 hours)• $256.00/day (shifts over 8 hours)
Schedule:Every Monday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Every Other Weekend:• Saturday: at least an 8-hour shift (based on your availability)
• Sunday: at least an 8-hour shift (based on your availability)
Tasks:• Respite care would be conducted in the client’s home.• Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. • Assist with basic money management tasks (e.g., supporting budget management/planning)• Support the client in preparing simple meals and snacks.• Provide timely medication reminders (no administration required).• Offer transportation to/from community locations, as needed (e.g., errands, appointments, outings).• Provide verbal reminders to clean up. • Engage with the client in respectful and meaningful ways to encourage social connection.
Qualifications:• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.• Must have auto insurance.• Must pass background check.• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. • Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
