always on the move in diverse settingsPosition Summarymiddot Provides evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficienciesmiddot Assesses patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosismiddot Implements and monitors patient care plan Monitors records and communicates patient condition Performs advanced respiratory care modalitiesmiddot Evaluates respiratory practice administration of medications and treatment based on patient outcomesmiddot Educates the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programsmiddot Assesses patients conditions in order to identify the most appropriate mode of therapymiddot Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy suggesting alternatives when appropriatemiddot Maintains infection control policies related to patient caremiddot Understands and demonstrates competency on all equipment utilizedmiddot Performs baseline pulmonary function screening and weaning parametersmiddot Understands and safely administers medications related to respiratory diseasesmiddot Other Duties as
