Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Performs basic physician ordered treatments for Adults and Pediatrics: Aerosol Therapy Treatments, Low flow and High Flow Oxygen Therapy, Airway Clearance Therapy, Airway expansion Therapy, Bedside Spirometry, ETCO2 Monitoring, & ABG'sEducate patient and document on all procedures performedSet up, maintain, and clean all invasive and non-invasive ventilatorsMonitor and document all therapy proceduresResponds to Code Blue, traumas, OB emergency, and other emergency situationsNICU/Mother Baby - Aerosol Therapy Treatments, Low flow and High flow Oxygen Therapy, Airway Clearance Therapy, Invasive and Non-Invasive ventilatorsPerforms basic EKG'sCleans and stores equipment and suppliesMust be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
