Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.Responsible for appropriate utilization of team resources to effectively and efficiently provide clinical services and quality patient outcomes. Accountable for planning, organizing and controlling all aspects of daily operations.This role will be for the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Team. A background in Transport or the NICU is highly preferred.

 

Required Experience:

1 year of Respiratory Experience - Required A background in NICU or Transport - 20,000 Level II or Level III NICU Experience

 

Certifications, Licensures, Education:

ACLS (Cardiovascular) - RequiredBLS - RequiredNRP-RequiredRegistered Respiratory license- Required.Active NBRC Credential for RRTAssociates degree in respiratory- Required
