Description Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality respiratory care across a diverse patient population. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver both routine and advanced respiratory therapy to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a variety of clinical settings. Key Responsibilities: * Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. * Provide care in critical care environments, including the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Emergency Department, and other high-acuity areas. * Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams. * Rotate through various departments within the Health System as needed to support patient care. * Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Schedule: * May include rotating day and night shifts. * Flexibility to work in any area of the Health System is required. The pay rate range is $48.53/hour - $64.03 /hour Qualifications Educational Requirements: * AA/AS Degree, Graduate of AMA Approved 2-Year Respiratory Therapy Program * Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar- preferred * Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licenses/Certifications: * RCP State License in the state of California * Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) (American Heart Association only) * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) * Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred/Required for NICU * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS)- preferred UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
