The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and families. Additional job descreption include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner must demonstrate proficiency in the following aeras: MST, ICU and ER.

Qualifications

Graduate od an AMA accredited School of Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.

Minimun of one year acute care experence in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred.

Current CA RCP license.

Current Healthcare Provider BLS

Current ACLS

Current PALS and NRP, within 90 days of hire

RRT preferred

Greater El Monte Community Hospital is  110 bed hospital in which provide emergency room, ICU, MST, Sub acute, surgery and phych unit services for our community.
