The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and families.Additional job descreption include collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide the patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner must demonstrate proficiency in the following aeras: MST, ICU, Subacute and ER.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA accredited School for Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.

Minimum of one year acute care experence in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred.

Current CA RCP license

Current Healthcare Provider BLS

Current ACLS

Current PALS,NRP within 90 days of hire

RRT preferred

Greater El Monte Community Hospital is a 110 bed hospital in which provides emergency room,ICU, MST, sub acute, surgery and psych unit services for patients in our community.
