Our Resource Management (RM) team is committed to providing our people with relevant experiences to promote career development and growth. As an Resource Manager, you’ll be networking and identifying talent with specific skill sets and interests to build diverse teams supporting our clients. You’ll build relationships at all levels and be a trusted business advisor to our business leaders. You’ll also interact with various business functions, including finance, human resources and business development, and be a crucial piece in helping to drive our business in meeting strategic goals.
**The opportunity**
You’ll work to successfully execute resource/scheduling assignments that are complex, great in scope and require extensive relationships with engagement subarea managers. You’ll focus on matching resource needs with availability while taking into consideration skills required, personal preferences and engagement risk. You’ll coordinate with other resource managers and client service leaders to balance workloads and address staffing needs as required.
**Your key responsibilities**
+ Participate in the forecasting process that helps resource management teams achieve maximum utilization of resource support.
+ Identify means of continual resource management process improvements along with developing and sharing leading practices across subareas.
+ Resolve conflicts with engagement team members to identify appropriate alternatives in a timely manner considering engagement requirements and developmental goals of supported staff.
+ Build relationships and communicate continually with client service personnel to identify personal schedule preferences and/or career development issues.
+ Meet with senior leadership to discuss staffing requirements for their clients and to gain an understanding of specific engagements needs and details.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assign counselors to resource analysts, identify instructors for firm-sponsored training programs, and manage the onboarding needs of interns, staff hires and transfer employees.
+ Counsel and supervise supported personnel; raise individual issues to appropriate leadership.
+ Manage resource analyst assignments and report on their progress to subarea leaders.
+ Manage day-to-day operational activities of resource analysts.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ 8-10 plus years of experience. Experience in a professional services firm desired
**Ideally, you’ll also have**
+ Proficiency in use of scheduling tool and other Microsoft applications
+ Ability to coordinate multiple tasks; strong organizational skills
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Supervisory experience

+ We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $88,100 to $164,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $105,800 to $187,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
+ Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
