Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator responsible for moderately complex planning, coordination, control, and direction of operational resources. This role requires effective customer interaction and communication with Field Technician Supervisors and Project Managers.

Responsibilities

Coordinate service resources and assign team members to projects.Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors, and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.Input project locations into the system and generate Work Order Documents.Dispatch technicians and notify customers.Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.Interact and communicate with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisors to assign and dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.Coordinate operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.Review project paperwork, complete calls, and forward project paperwork to Project Administrators.Log service start-up and service work requirements in the job tracking system.Generate, interpret, and print various assigned reports.Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Essential Skills

One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three plus years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.Strong administrative support, project coordination, and dispatch skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems, and/or Temperature Controls is preferred.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with four days onsite (Monday to Thursday) and one day remote (Friday). Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Initial training will be 40 hours per week, and after training, up to 45 hours per week, especially during the busy season when overtime is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
