About Us: The Contract Centre of Excellence (CCOE)  is looking for a talented Resource & Capacity Planning Senor Associate to join our team.  

 

Job Description: As a Resource & Capacity Planning Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CCOE Leadership and Operations Lead by managing the business contracting demands and assigning contract requests to the legal members of the team. In collaboration with the CCOE Contract Success Manager, you will support forecasting demand, optimizing resource utilization, and providing input into strategic plans to ensure that we meet future resource needs. You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues related to contracting, deliver high quality client service, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. 

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

Key Responsibilities 

Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with CCOE Contract Success Manager, CCOE Contracting team, and stakeholders from other Business Enablement teams to anticipate future contract requests based on historical data, Salesforce opportunities, and business requirements. Contribute to the optimization of resource plans and forecasts to ensure that future contracting resource needs are anticipated and met. 

Resource Allocation: Utilize contracting resources effectively and assign requests to Legal team members based on their expertise, availability, and contract requirements.  

Capacity Analysis: Assess resourcing needs, identify gaps or excesses in resource capacity, and allocate requests accordingly. Provide insights and recommendations to CCOE Leadership based on capacity analysis. 

Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization and efficiency within the Contract Centre of Excellence. Develop strategies to optimize resource allocation and management. 

Resource Tracking: Support the CCOE Contract Success team to monitor the status and progress of contract requests to ensure that they are on track to meet business goals. Address, escalate and resolve any conflicts or issues related to resource allocation and management. 

Reporting: Provide regular reports on resource utilization, availability, and performance to stakeholders. Offer insights and recommendations based on analysis. 

Collaboration: Work closely with CCOE team members and other Business Enablement stakeholders to ensure that contract requests are met, delivered and completed on time and successfully. 

 

Requirements:

Experience: +2 years in resource management (utilization, risks associated to the upcoming request, resource planning, capacity, others). Experience in data analysis with insights experience is a plus. Education: Bachelor degree in a business related field. Interest in the legal/contracting field.Languages: English (both written & verbal). French is a plus.Digital Tools: MS Advanced (excel, word) mandatory. Ability to learn new technology tools. - Digital Tools: PowerBI & Alterix knowledge is a plus or desire to learn. Salesforce or any resource management software and tools are also valued.Soft Skills: Strong analytical, excellent communication skills, negotiation, collaborative, facilitate group discussions, problem solving, oriented to quality & efficiency, think strategically & creative, manage conflicting priorities, excellent judgment, strong organization.
