The Resource & Capacity Management Specialist is a critical role that supports the strategic alignment and operational efficiency of our Resource & Capacity Management (RCM) function. This role is responsible for supporting strong client relationships to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. The specialist will ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Operational Support and Escalation Management: Proactively provide essential operational support for complex service and process escalations. This includes timely communication of updates and resolutions to our customers. Creation and Initiative Coordination: Assist in the development, refinement, and maintenance of high-quality process documentation, training materials, and communication content related to RCM. Coordinate and drive specific RCM initiatives, projects, and activities to successful completionSubject-Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) in Resource & Capacity Management within IT. Provide consultative support, guidance, and best practice recommendations to optimize resource utilization and capacity planning across the organization.Training and Continuous Process Improvement: Develop and deliver engaging and effective training sessions to the organization on new RCM processes, tool enhancements, and process changes. Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance RCM interactions, streamline existing processes, and improve the overall efficiency of service delivery.Tool and System Administration Support: Provide support for the maintenance and optimization of RCM tools, including data integrity checks and basic configuration adjustments, to ensure the systems accurately reflect current resource and capacity data.Key Skills and Attributes:
Communication Excellence: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for articulating complex process explanations, delivering professional and impactful training, and fostering positive and productive customer interactions and executive-level reporting.Strategic Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to effectively diagnose and address service and process escalations. Must be capable of developing and implementing sustainable, data-driven solutions.Organizational and Task Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, coordinate activities across various teams, and diligently track tasks to ensure the timely and successful completion of all assigned work..Adaptability and Teamwork: Exhibit a high degree of adaptability, with a proven ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and deliverables, while also functioning as a collaborative and supportive team member committed to achieving shared organizational goals.Technical Proficiency: Required familiarity with essential business tools. Direct experience with ServiceNow, is a significant advantage or any Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool is highly desirable. Must be proficient in using G-Suite applications, including advanced use of Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting, and Google Slides for professional presentations and training materials.Requirements
Education:
