Resource and Planning Manager

Your role:

 

The Resource & Planning Manager manages the resource allocation of the APAC Implementation team, contractors and the strategic management of resource allocation

 

What you'll do:

Planning and assigning resources to the APAC Implementation project portfolio Strategic forward planning of resource requirements (internal and external), based on demand Financial reporting highlighting project overruns and associated resourcing costs Report to the VP of Implementation and Project Services on strategic measures required to fulfil resource demands Produce executive level reports on resource status/costs for the region Risk management of resources, highlighting resource gaps and working with the APAC executive team to mitigate risks End to end contract and supplier management of all 3rd Party partners who supply contract staff to APAC Implementation projects Stakeholder management with Team Managers/Project Managers Organise and manage all APAC Implementation and Project Services staff on the operational use of the global resource and project management tool, PlanView Operational Management, training and ongoing engagement with the PlanView user community within APAC Maximise use of PlanView for the following activities: Management of project schedules and project financials Management of project resources and resource financials Resource utilization Reporting and analytics Timekeeping by all internal and contractor APAC staff Continual monitoring of the accuracy of project and resource data in PlanView Assign tasks to the PMO team who manage PlanView back end administration Qualifications you'll need: Experience: PlanView administrative experience (5+ years) including system rollouts and upgrades Resource management experience (5+ years) Experience in managing third party suppliers of contract staff (5+ years). Experience of working in both a global and regional role Experience in IT & Payroll/HR industry Project management experience
