Job Description

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Resort Manager functions as the strategic business leader of property operations and acts as General Manager in his absence. Areas of responsibility include Front Office,Housekeeping,  Recreation/Fitness Center and Spa,  Security, Engineering, Food and Beverage and Transportation department. Position works with direct reports both on director and department head levels to develop and implement the operations strategy and ensuring implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. Resort Manager ensures that operations meet the brand’s target customer needs, ensuring high team member engagement, focusing on growing revenues and maximizes financial performance continuously assisting the department heads in creating initiatives for increasing in-house capture ratios and revenues. As a member of the senior leadership team, developing and implementing property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of guest and team members whilst looking after the finances. 

Previous experience in working in multicultural working environments and with diverse group of team members is needed as our Resort Manager is also responsible for managing the performance of the department heads that report to her/him and providing the necessary support to them whilst looking at the effectiveness and efficiency on all departments and actively supporting the development and growth of the department heads. Commitment to meeting and exceeding all key performance standards and measures is needed. Ability to balance operational needs, strategy implementation and business excellence will ensure success in this role. So , to keep it short, we are looking for someone really, really good and focused. As a key member of our pre-opening team, writing and revising SOPs and processes, driving recruitment and ability to work in an building site are skills that we look for. 

Qualifications

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Hotel Management Previous experience as EAM / Hotel Manager / Resident Manager needed. Strong commercial/business acumen, passion for hospitality industry and new trendsPassion for people development and customer care. We look for solid experiences in performance management, coaching and career developmentResults driven and focused. Ability to deal with multitude of tasks and diverse group of people is key to success in this role
