About the Role

Are you the person in your group chat who always finds the perfect meme? Do you have the fastest thumbs in the group when a comment section needs a reply? If you live and breathe social media and love creating content just as much as you love engaging with an online community, we want to meet you.

We’re looking for a Social Media Community Manager who will spend 70% of their time owning community management across Sam’s Club social platforms and 30% creating social-first content. You’ll play a key role in deepening relationships with our members while helping to shape how our brand shows up in culture.

What You’ll Do

Community Management (70%)

Engage daily with members and prospects across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Reddit.Write on-brand, timely, and authentic responses that make people feel seenSupport social listening and real-time monitoring to identify moments that matterCreate response libraries for campaigns, FAQs, and trending topicsCollaborate with internal teams to escalate and respond to emerging member issuesSurface community insights and social trends to help inspire future content

Content Creation (30%)

Concept, shoot, and edit short-form videos for platforms like TikTok and ReelsParticipate in brainstorms and pitch culturally relevant ideas for socialHelp bring our “Expect Something Special” mindset to life through creative storytellingSource and feature UGC and community-driven stories across our channelsMaintain asset libraries and organize content for reporting and re-use

Who You Are

A digital native who knows the difference between a trend and a memeA sharp writer who can shift tone depending on platform and momentPassionate about social media as both a creative outlet and a brand-building toolOrganized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCurious and eager to learn from a top-tier teamComfortable shooting and editing video using a smartphone or basic toolsSomeone who finds joy in making people feel heard

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in social media, community management, or content creationExperience with social media publishing and moderation tools (Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.)Strong understanding of platform nuances and content best practicesBachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Other Details

This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in ArkansasThe position requires occasional evening, weekend, and holiday workYour work week will not exceed 40 hours, and advanced notice will be provided for off-hour support

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00*

‎ 

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
