Oversee daily client activities, ensuring adherence to rules and expectationsOrient new clients on program guidelines and assist in onboarding team membersAdhere to medication policies and collaborate with Behavioral Health TechniciansDocument client activities, progress, and behaviorMonitor detoxification clients and provide transportation as neededParticipate in hiring, interviewing, and training of Behavioral Health TechniciansProvide supervision and facilitate meetings for Behavioral Health TechniciansAssist with staff scheduling and coverage for vacant shiftsPrepare group curricula and educational materialsPerform duties of a Behavioral Health Technician when requiredAssist in crisis de-escalation and facilitate behavioral interventionsEnsure proper documentation following regulatory standards and incident reportingComplete mandatory trainings and maintain required certificationsFacilitate educational or recreational groups as scheduledConduct annual evaluations for direct reports within designated timeframesContribute to the company's long-term and short-term goals and objectivesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors and leadershipEducation and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university; ORHigh School education or General Equivalency Diploma and at least two (2) years of responsible employment historyAt least one (1) year of supervisory responsibility is preferredAdditional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect screeningComplete New Hire Orientation within 30 days of employmentComplete all Relias Learning training requirements within two (2) weeks of employment and annually thereafterObtain First Aid certification within three (3) months of employment and upon renewalObtain CPR certification within three (3) months of employment and upon renewalComplete Behavioral Management training (CPI for Residential programs, Crisis Management on Relias Learning for Outpatient programs) within thirty (30) days of employment or first available class after start dateAchieve thirty-six (36) hour training requirements within a 2-year period in accordance with 9 CSR 10-7.110 E 1Complete Privileging and Credentialing form (CPRC only) within thirty (30) days of employmentExtensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of the assigned programObtain Driver's license in state of Residency within 30 days following the date of hireFor adolescent programs only: Within the first year of employment, receive training on adolescent behavior, family dynamics, communication skills, incest, sexual abuse, physical and emotional abuse, stress management, and the effect of peer pressurePhysical Requirements: Ability to perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, including the human bodyKeywords: Residential, Coordinator, Assistant, Recovery, Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work
