We are currently working with a respected high street firm based in Bristol that is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Locum to provide interim support while the firm recruits for a permanent position.

The Role

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion. Administrative support will be provided by a conveyancing assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload including:
Sales and purchases (registered/unregistered, freehold/leasehold)Re-mortgagesTransfers of equityEquity releaseRight to buy transactionsHandle files from initial enquiry to completion, including post-completion formalitiesEnsure a high standard of client service in line with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)Build and maintain strong relationships within the conveyancing chainProvide support and supervision to junior team members as neededAbout You
Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed ConveyancerMinimum 2–5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancingConfident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and organisational skills
