In the role of Resident Project Representative II, we'll count on you to:Oversee and coordinate construction activities of general contractors and/or subcontractorsAssist leadership in processing paperwork to expedite construction activitiesCommunicate and document all changes in scope to the project manager or client, especially any that impact cost, quality, schedule and safetyExercise judgement in evaluation of installed standard construction features to determine conformance with contract documentsProvide input for updating project schedules, pay requests, progress reports and cost/budgeting reportsConduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and schedulingReceive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data for RE/PM/ClientPerform other duties including on-site safety inspections, document control, verifying project schedules and monitoring daily logs and status reports as neededBe liaison between design engineer and construction staff when requireAssist Procurement as required

This position is subject to a governmental background check and preemployment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications5 years related experienceProficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)Ability to work independently or as part of a teamA collaborative team attitude driven to remove obstacles from team progressPreference given to local candidates

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
