Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Resident Engineer specializing in infrastructure for private developers, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and local regulationsCollaborate with private developers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve technical issuesConduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety complianceReview and approve technical submittals, change orders, and payment applicationsPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical correspondenceAnalyze project data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measuresEnsure compliance with local building codes and regulations in DubaiManage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet established milestones and deadlinesCoordinate with various engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalentMinimum of 15  years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on private development projectsProven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and safety practicesProficiency in AutoCAD or similar design softwareExperience with construction management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent technical report writing and communication skillsIn-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in DubaiStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated leadership and team management skillsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as needed
