Why Join Us? + Full Benefits Package – Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, HRA, FSA, PTO + Employee referral program + Friendly, supportive staff environment with opportunities for growth + A meaningful role where you help improve residents’ quality of life Responsibilities Responsibilities: As a Resident Activities Program Coordinator / Activity Leader, you will: + Assist the Director of Activities in planning and carrying out the activities program. + Approach residents on assigned units to plan individual recreational and social activities; report to the Director of Activities on resident engagement and response. + Prepare resident information for care planning and documentation; write progress notes as assigned. + Develop and maintain good contact with community resources to enhance the activities program. + Maintain departmental inventory of equipment and supplies. + Keep attendance records and prepare other required reports. Qualifications Qualifications: + Minimum 18 years of age; High School diploma or equivalent required + Valid New York Driver’s License with clean driving record + Ability to develop strong relationships with staff, volunteers, families, and visitors + Ability to inspire and motivate residents, create a warm and welcoming environment, and adapt activities to resident needs + Understanding of residents’ rights and needs + Physical stamina for constant activity This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
