Ensure a safe and enjoyable housing experience for all employees living in park/company housing through enforcement of related policies, daily cleaning and maintenance, coordination of room assignments, and by providing recreation activities for employees of all employee housing around Paradise Inn location. Maintain accurate records of housing, including room assignments.This position may be asked to do light administrative assistant duties in down time.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of Management, thoroughly clean all employee housing units as employees move out.
Maintain cleanliness of housing through daily cleaning of all housing areas and regular room inspections.
Regularly cleaning hallways, common areas, bathrooms, and surrounding grounds of employee housing areas.
Maintaining awareness of safety and repair issues and reporting them immediately.
Stocking supplies in employee common areas.
Working with management to coordinate and provide regular, quality recreation programs for employees, both on-site and off-site. May include driving employees in company-provided vehicles.
In coordination with admin team, manage employee arrival and departure process for all employees. May include driving employees to/from Monterey airport.
Show new employees their rooms and give a tour of all employee work areas and EDR.
Act as on-site liaison between employees in housing and Admin.
Enforce company and housing policies and maintain a positive employee community by politely but firmly responding to inappropriate behaviors.
Performs such other related duties as directed or required.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required.
National Park housing experience or similar preferred.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to problem solve and appropriately confront inappropriate behaviors.
Experience handling issues in complex, fast-paced environments.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent movement within the park, especially going outdoors between buildings in Paradise area.
Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height regularly, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Lift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand for the entire workday and climb steps regularly while carrying heavy load.
Withstand temperature and weather extremes indoor and outdoor, especially during early and late season.
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of guests and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly in English so that guests and co-workers will understand. Ability to read and write work-related documents in English.
Constantly communicate and receive verbal communication with other employees in fast-paced environments.
Ability to safely drive 14 passenger van, occasionally while towing a small trailer.
Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.

Basic maintenance tools (i.e. screwdriver, drill, hammer) and standard cleaning equipment
Typical office equipment (computer, phone system, fax, copier, scanner, among others.)
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used: gloves, respirator, goggles, mask, chemical resistant gloves, chemical resistant boots
