Reservations Agent

The Reservations Agent serves as the voice and heartbeat of the hotel, processing all incoming and outgoing communications. We are seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented Reservations Agent to handle all communications and guest requests in a positive and professional manner. This position also requires Food and Beverage knowledge as In Room Dining Orders are processed through Reservation Agents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

Reservations

Providing excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspiring to reach department and property defined goals and objectives Answering and processing all incoming/outgoing guest and in-house callsThinking outside the box to own and solve guest stay areas of opportunity. Going above and beyond to recover any service opportunities and exceed guest expectationsCommunicating and partnering with all department leaders and hourly Associates to ensure the guest experience is personalized and executed seamlesslyMaintaining proper record keeping for guest accounts, being knowledgeable about hotel services and local surroundings in order to answer, respond and communicate with guests regarding questions and requestsManaging 3-4 calls per minute ranging from Reservations Calls, General Inquiries, In house calls and in room dining ordersActively coordinating communications within the hotel, including emergency procedure, alarms, life safety, and moreAssisting all departments with communication for guest experience or internal needs as necessaryAlways being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team membersAssisting with digital communications such as e-mail inquires, third party communications with guests and detailing reports that are sent to all departmentsPerforming any other job-related duties as assignedKnowledge of full menu, dietary allergies and preparation methods at all timesPerforming any other job related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious communications or switchboard experience preferredClear and effective verbal and written communication skills requiredMust be willing and able to multi-taskKnowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook requiredMust have excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills

The pay scale* for Reservations Agent is $20 per hour.

*The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
