About the role

We are recruiting for Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team in Discover Qatar.

In this role, you will assist in processing and confirming bookings/reservations of tourism arrangements for customers travelling to Qatar (transfers, tours, tourism activities and accommodation). You will provide seamless operations and excellent services to clients / customers (B2B and B2C) and also promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

Respond to and address customer queries via email, phone, or chat with the utmost professionalism and exceptional service skills, ensuring that personalized customer service is delivered at the highest standard. Sell; up-sell and cross-sell Discover Qatar (DQ) products and services to the client/ customer. Additionally, make new reservations and changes to existing reservations, quoting the correct rates along with terms and conditions. Issue and re-issue of vouchers/ other documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered by Discover Qatar, as well as visa regulations and requirements. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient booking processing experience. Escalate queries to senior Reservations staff (Coordinators, Officers) as appropriate Update logs and reports in a timely and accurate manner to enable the business to track and monitor service levels effectively, while also ensuring that payment records are matched accurately. Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
