We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Supervisor to join our team at Movenpick Resort Aswan, Egypt. As a Reservation Supervisor, you will supervise the operations of the reservation department during shift by assisting to coordinate operational plans to meet hotel sales targets.
Ensuring daily tasks and checklists for all reservation colleagues are completed Ensure all reservation agents are well trained and informed of all rates, promotions, and corporate programs To reconfirm the next day correspondence regarding the correct information such as guest profiles, flight details, room preference, date, room rates, and any pre-arranged limousine airport pick-up, etc., and send to front desk and concierge if any change Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through upselling Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services To check the last night no-show and cancellation report To train the reservation agent to handle group bookings Maintain a close and effective working relationship with all departments Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system Manage group reservations, constant communication with event planner, and balancing inventory Supervise reservation services Maintain a clean and organized work area All reservation modifications are updated on the property management system immediately and accurately in case of any changes To coordinate with sales department, front desk, or other departments Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests To operate the reservations department in case of the reservations manager's absence Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by reservation manager Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Opera competencies Service oriented with an eye for details Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team Good presentation and influencing skills Good communication skills Good problem handling skills Good time management About the CompanyA caring employer providing respect, training and career development for our employees.
