Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel set to open in Q2 2026 will bring contemporary style and Laotian flair to the heart of the capital, just minutes from Wat Si Saket, Vientiane Night Market, and Chao Anouvong Park. The hotel’s 197 guest rooms and suites will blend modern design with local touches, offering its guests the choice of four dining venues, including an international all-day dining restaurant, a western comfort food concept and bar, and a Southeast Asian fine-dining restaurant. Guests will enjoy Avani Spa with five treatment rooms, an Avani Fit fitness centre and studio, an outdoor swimming pool, and versatile event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Job Description

As Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the performance of the Reservations team, ensuring efficient operations, revenue maximization, and a seamless guest booking experience. You will play a key role in driving accuracy, conversion, and channel effectiveness while supporting the hotel’s overall revenue strategy. This role is critical during the pre-opening phase, establishing strong processes, systems, and team capability from day one. You will work closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Front Office, and other operational departments to ensure reservations integrity and guest satisfaction.

You will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, coach, and motivate the Reservations team to achieve performance and service excellenceEnsure all Reservations SOPs, brand standards, and policies are consistently adhered toMonitor team performance, accuracy, productivity, and conversion, providing regular feedback and coachingOversee daily reservations operations to ensure a high level of accuracy in bookings and guest dataReview daily arrivals to ensure guest preferences, special requests, and profiles are properly communicated and fulfilledCoordinate closely with Front Office and other departments to ensure guest expectations are managed and reservations are honoredSupport Revenue Management in inventory control, including allotments, group blocks, and rate code maintenance across all systemsMaximize revenue through effective upselling and cross-selling strategiesEnsure optimal utilization and performance of all distribution channels, including IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Corporate channels, and Regional Sales OfficesMonitor booking trends, pickup patterns, and channel performance, highlighting risks and opportunitiesContribute to pre-opening system setup, testing, and process alignment

QualificationsCollege or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in Reservations and/or Rooms Division within a hotel environmentStrong knowledge of hotel systems, including PMS, RMS and distribution channelsSolid understanding of revenue principles, inventory management, and distribution dynamicsGood knowledge of the local and regional market, competitors, and destination demand driversStrong communication and coordination skillsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a 4 or 5-star (international hotel brand preferred)Fluent in English, Lao, and ThaiLocal Laos / Vientiane experience preferredSoutheast Asia market experience required
