We are looking for a courteous, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all reservation inquiries, confirmations, modifications, and cancellations for the hotel. You will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing accurate information and delivering outstanding service to ensure a smooth booking experience. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: + Respond to all reservation inquiries via phone, email, online platforms, or in person in a prompt and professional manner. + Accurately input, update, and manage bookings in the reservation system (e.g., Opera, SynXis, etc.). + Confirm reservations and send confirmations to guests in a timely manner. + Assist guests with special requests, modifications, cancellations, and group bookings. + Upsell room types, packages, and hotel services to maximize revenue. + Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue teams to ensure accuracy in room allocation and rates. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, packages, and hotel services. + Monitor daily arrivals and no-show reports, and ensure proper communication with the front office team. + Handle guest complaints or concerns related to reservations in a courteous and effective manner. + Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: + High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or tourism diploma is a plus. + Previous experience in reservations, front office, or customer service role in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, CRS). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. + Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. + Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset. + Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
